Blue Koala was built on a simple belief — great coffee brings people together. From two mates with a dream to a van that serves the whole Gold Coast community, this is our story.
From Two Mates
To Your Community
Blue Koala Coffee Co. started with Jason and Will — two mates who shared a love for great coffee and an even bigger love for the Gold Coast community. They noticed something: the best coffee experiences were always tied to the best moments with people.
Their journey actually began back in 2022 with a bricks-and-mortar café, where they learned the craft, built relationships and poured thousands of cups for locals. But in 2026, the idea of taking that same quality and community spirit on the road became impossible to ignore.
So they built a mobile coffee van that could go anywhere — not just to serve drinks, but to show up for the community. Weekend markets, school fetes, surf club fundraisers, backyard birthdays and corporate boardrooms. Every stop is a chance to connect.
What started as a single van and a dream has grown into something much bigger. But the mission has never changed: make incredible coffee, treat every customer like a friend, and give back to the community that made it all possible.

We regularly pop up at local community hubs, bringing affordable premium coffee to neighbourhood gatherings, seniors groups and family events.

From tuckshop fundraisers to sports carnivals and graduation celebrations — we love supporting schools across the Gold Coast with great drinks and great energy.
Surf Life Saving Clubs
We are proud to support our local surf clubs with event catering and regular visits. These volunteers keep our beaches safe — the least we can do is keep them caffeinated.
Local Sports Teams
Early morning game? We are there. We support grassroots sports clubs with affordable game-day coffee and cold drinks for players, families and supporters.
Charity & Fundraising Events
We believe in giving back. We regularly offer discounted or donated services to registered charities and community fundraisers doing important work on the Gold Coast.
Community Markets
Weekend markets are the heartbeat of our community. You will find us at local makers markets, farmers markets and artisan fairs — supporting local producers and small businesses.
Coffee With a Conscience
We believe success means nothing if you are not lifting others up along the way. Here is how we put that belief into action.
Free Coffee for Volunteers
We offer complimentary coffee services for volunteer-run events and community clean-up days. Your time is priceless — your coffee is on us.
Fundraiser Partnership Rates
Registered charities and not-for-profits receive significantly reduced catering rates for their events. We want to help you raise more by spending less.
School Scholarship Program
We partner with select Gold Coast schools to provide subsidised event catering for their fundraising efforts — helping schools invest in their students futures.
Local Supplier Sourcing
Wherever possible, we source ingredients and supplies from fellow Gold Coast small businesses. Keeping dollars local strengthens the whole community.
